Opening Reflection
Visionary, can you believe this is our 16th Sunday Reset? Four months of pausing, resetting, and growing in rhythm with one another. Each issue has been a marker of progress, but this one feels especially personal.
Earlier this week, I was walking through town with my children when something caught my eye. There, glowing softly in a shop window, was my flyer for Introduction to Creative Artificial Intelligence. And beside it, Eve, my digital muse, smiling from the screen. My heart swelled with pride and joy, mixed with that tiny “what did I get myself into” feeling. My kids’ excitement made it real. I wasn’t dreaming this time; I was in it.
That moment taught me something simple but powerful. Sometimes the signs that our dreams are unfolding arrive quietly, during errands, when we least expect them. They remind us that faith and follow-through will always meet in the middle.
Personal Reflection
At the start of the week, I took 48 hours off to attend my cousin’s graduation, my first trip out of the city since 2022. It was healing to step away, laugh with family, and breathe air that didn’t carry the hum of notifications. While I was gone, my phone still went cha-ching a few times.
That sound was more than business. It was reassurance. My value isn’t measured by constant presence; my work can thrive even while I rest. That’s the kind of sustainability I want to embody moving forward: rest as strategy, not reward.
In that space of stillness, a spark returned. I ended up writing a new song called My Aura’s Bodyguard. It poured out of me like it had been waiting patiently behind the noise.
